Orvieto was built on a tufa cliff, 325 metres over the sea level, and represents the perfect symbiosis between nature and artificial human genius.

To visit the city is to retrace history: if its stones could talk, they would recount centuries and centuries of human history.

The town is famous for wine and belongs to the Città del Vino association; it hosts important musical events such as the Umbria Jazz Winter, entirely dedicated to jazz.
