One of its major landmarks is San Giuliano park, which overlooks the Venice lagoon and is connected to it by the famous Ponte della Libertà (a bridge connecting the mainland to Venice).

This 74-hectare park is an expression of environmental recovery and landscape enhancement, as well as one of the most important centres of studies about lagoon environment.

Many sports and cultural activities are offered, both for young and older people.

Here, the culinary tradition is similar to the Venetian one, with influences from Vicenza and Treviso.
