Particularly sensitive to the issues of accessible and inclusive tourism.
The Ravenna Friendly Guides have years of experience in the tourism sector and differentiated skills that allow them to offer proposals for cultural and hiking itineraries to make the tourist experience accessible and enjoyable to all.
Born at the end of 2019, following a training, curated by the La Girobussola Association of Bologna, dedicated to specializing in leading visually impaired and blind visitors, the guides have therefore created a specific route in Ravenna thanks to the possibility offered by the authorities in charge to touch the artistic heritage with gloves and the aid of tactile tools. Tactile visits have also been designed and will start as soon as the health emergency situation allows. In the meantime, the Ravenna Friendly Guides continue to train in other fields thanks to some online proposals: from new technologies to different disabilities in order to be increasingly prepared and inclusive.
